This week sees the release of the eagerly-anticipated The World’s End, the final installment in the Cornetto Trilogy (along with Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz), a series of films straight out of the brain heads of director Edgar Wright and comedy best buds Simon Pegg and Nick Frost.
To celebrate the film's release, JOE takes a wee look back at some of our favourite moments from the first two films, let's call it revising.
We're even eating a full box of Cornettos as we do it. That counts as research, right?
Mmmmm. Lovely, delicious, fattening research.
Shaun of the Dead
Released back in 2004, Shaun of the Dead proved to be one of the best additions to the Zombie genre in many a year and also proved that, after the excellent TV series Spaced, Wright, Pegg and Frost had what it took to make it on the big screen.
A ZomCom of the highest order, the film tells the tale of Shaun (Simon Pegg) as he tries ot get a handle on his life and his relationships with his best friend (Nick Frost), girlfriend, mammy and step-dad.
Oh, and there just happens to be a zombie apocalypse happening at the same time.
In no particular order, here are some of our favourite moments:

Hot Fuzz
The second film in the Cornetto Trilogy saw Pegg return as all-action cop, Nicholas Angel. After being transferred to the sleppy English village of "crime-free" Sandford, Angel soon starts to suspect that not everything is as it seems and it's up to him and new partner Danny Butterman (Frost) to get to the bottom of things.
