So this would seem to indicate that the sequel will also feature Tom, but will it also feature Robert Downey Jr., Josh Brolin, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Olsen, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Bettany, Cobie Smulders, Benedict Wong, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Pom Klementieff, Scarlett Johansson, Benicio del Toro, Tom Holland, Anthony Mackie, Chadwick Boseman, Danai Gurira, Paul Rudd, and Don Cheadle?
Who knows? Tom goes on:
"They're shooting them back-to-back. [The Russo Brothers, the directors of the movies] are amazing! But also what is amazing is seeing them on this big budget film, and being in scenes and just talking about what's the objective, and what's the drama of the scene? These huge effects and everything but still going 'That's all great, but let's talk about the truth of this scene', and so it would be this huge optic, but actually talking about it on a very intimate and dramatic level."
Was it a fun set to work on?
"It was a very fun set. Lots of laughs. But not as much fun as Maze."
So before we head off with Tom into outer space with super-heroes, make sure you check out his new movie when it is release in cinemas on Friday 22 September, and check back in with JOE soon for our full interview.
