The Top 10 Irish films of 2016 have been revealed

What a year it’s been for Irish film…

With Oscar nominations, international festival appearances and glowing global reviews galore, 2016 has been an impressive year for the Irish film industry.

To round off the year in style, the superb and comprehensive Irish film website, Scannain, held a poll to definitively find Ireland’s favourite film of 2016.

Thousands of film fans took part in the voting process and now, counting backwards in true wannabe DJ style, here are the Top 10 Irish films of 2016
