So much money that we’re almost surprised they haven’t pooled it all and bought a football club together.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, U2 top the list (partially because there are four of them). Individually, producers Mark Burnett and Roma Dowmey make more, and they come in second on the list (Burnett isn’t Irish, but Dowmey is from Derry).
The top five also features lord of the dance Michael Flatley, singer Enya, and beloved actor Liam Neeson.
The full top ten, revealed in The Irish Sun, goes like this:
- U2 – €645m
- Mark Burnett and Roma Downey – €459m
- Michael Flatley – €235m
- Enya – €117m
- Liam Neeson – €113m
- Pierce Brosnan – €72m
- Sir Van Morrison – €62m
- Sir Daniel and Lady Day-Lewis – €55m
- Bob Geldof – €49m
- Niall Horan – €44m
So if you ever seen any of these lads strolling down Grafton Street, we think you’re within your rights to ask them for a fiver.
