Plot’s it all about?
We already talked about how fantastic the poster and the movie’s tagline is (check that out here), and now we’ve got our first look at the new trailer.
Sandra Bullock plays Debbie Ocean, the estranged sister to George’s Danny, who has just been released from prison (kinda like Danny at the top of Ocean’s 11), and she’s already got her eye on the Met Gala.
With the help of her BFF Lou (Cate Blanchett, the cool Brad Pitt’y character in this one, it seems like), they put together an all-star team to rob a $150 million piece of jewellery that happens to be draped around the neck of Daphne Kluger (Anne Hathaway).
Exactly why she wants to steal this specific piece is still being kept highly under-wraps, but considering there are a few men involved in the mix, we wouldn’t be surprised if it had a Julia Roberts’y plot vibe from the original, i.e. getting back at the lady who stole your man.
The whole trailer has a very fun, cool vibe, and we are already looking forward to seeing how the ladies manage to pull this one off.
