Plot’s it all about?
Our own Sharon Horgan continues to slowly take over the world, following on from HBO picking up Divorce – the show she scripted – for another season, here she is starring along side some of the biggest stars in what looks a totally ballistic comedy.
Coming from the writers and directors of the likes of Horrible Bosses, Spiderman Homecoming and the incredibly underrated Vacation, it tells the story of a number of couples – headed by Bateman and McAdams – have a number of fun (if overly competitive) game nights, until one of them spins entirely out of control and gets insanely dangerous and almost ludicrously violent.
On top of Horgan, who we already know is hilarious thanks to Catastrophe, it is great to see Rachel McAdams testing out her comedy chops, because we’re usually used to seeing her being so serious lately, but anyone who has seen Mean Girls will know just how great a comedy actress she can be.
The trailer alone had us laughing out loud, so this is definitely added to our must-watch list!
