A dream come true for her.

Fair play to her…

A Galway girl travelled all the way to Los Angeles this week to perform and chat on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Eimear Tuathail, a 17-year-old singer/songwriter from Galway, is a massive fan of Ellen, so much so that she wrote a song in honour of the host called, Hey Ellen.

Ellen spotted the song, and as a result, Tuathail was flown out to spend six days in LA with the cherry on top being her getting to perform for Ellen and in front of millions of American’s watching at home.

The episode aired on American TV on Tuesday but you’ll be able to check it out on ITV2 next week.

Tuathail only had once chance to perform the song but she certainly took off her shoes and gave it socks, and the whole thing went down a storm.
