TUBRIDY VS NORTON: The line-ups for the Late Late Show and Graham Norton are here

Staying in?

Conor Heneghan

Not bad, not bad at all.

Chances are you’ll be staying in tonight to save yourself for the big game on Sunday and if you are, here’s what you can look forward to on the box.

Again, there’s decent fare on offer from both Tubs and Graham tonight, but have a gander at the guests on their respective couches before deciding what to watch.

The Late Late Show

Oliver Callan

Always a crowd pleaser, Oliver will no doubt be using his expert impressionist skills to talk about the budget and Ireland’s Rugby World Cup quarter-final on Sunday.

Joe Duffy

The man with least distance to travel to the Late Late couch tonight will discuss his new book on the children who were the forgotten victims of the 1916 Rising and why he thinks Dublin city centre is a “kip”.

Lieutenant Commander Daniel Wall, Lieutenant Shane Mulcahy and Minister for Defence, Simon Coveney

Wall, captain of LÉ Niamh ship and Mulcahy, search and rescue officer on LÉ Eithne, will talk about their recent experiences rescuing migrants from a capsized boat on the Mediterranean.

Both crews saved hundreds of lives after being first onto the scene and amongst the people rescued was a pregnant woman who subsequently gave birth on board LÉ Niamh.

Minister for Defence Simon Coveney will join the pair as they share their experiences with the audience.

Rachel Weisz

Colin’s not the only good thing about The Lobster, of course, the lovely Rachel Weisz is in it too and she’ll also be stopping by for a chat.

Chris O’Dowd

As if tonight’s show wasn’t already Irish enough with Graham and Colin around, the loveable Chris O’Dowd will be on to talk about his portrayal of journalist David Walsh in the new Lance Armstrong movie, The Program.
