Two Irish cinemas are showing all EIGHT Harry Potter movies this summer

Running from Saturday 6 June to Thursday 5 September, the Lighthouse Cinema in Dublin and the Pálás Cinema in Galway will be running a ‘Wonder Years’ festival of films, essentially movies to grow up to.

While the full line-up is hugely impressive by itself, the thing that caught our eye was the fact that over the summer, they will be showing all eight of the Harry Potter movies.

First off, they’ll be kicking things off with Harry Potter And The Philosopher’s Stone on Sunday 7 July, before pretty much showing another entry in the franchise every week, up until The Deathly Hallows Part 2 on Tuesday 27 August.

On top of that, they’ll also be hosting a Harry Potter Sleepover event on Saturday 27 July, which will show ALL EIGHT of the movies back-to-back. That is 1,365 minutes of Hogwarts to enjoy, should you be so inclined.

However, if the Wonderful World of Wizardry isn’t entirely your bag, they’ll also be showing a hugely eclectic mix of muggle movies, from the Oscar-magnets like of Boyhood, Moonlight, Inside Out, and Ladybird, to big crowd-pleasers such as Mean Girls, It: Chapter One, Sing Street, and My Girl.

Check out the full schedule for both the Dublin and Galway screenings right here.
