I’d wager that every single media outlet will be reporting on Jon Stewart’s final episode of The Daily Show tonight as the gifted broadcaster ends his tenure behind the desk.
There’s simply no other broadcaster like him because he’s equal parts comedian, critic, newscaster, political satirist but most importantly he’s truthful.
The Daily Show has done what most other American news outlets have failed to do, they’ve somehow cut through the bull**it and reported the news without resorting to lies, ego or spin.
Personally speaking, it’s one of the finest pieces of TV that has come out of the US in the last decade and the incoming host Trevor Noah has huge shoes to fill.
Stewart knew that this day was coming but in typical fashion, he had some fun on the way out.
Take a look as he has some fun with Barack Obama, Tom Cruise, CM Punk and mercilessly slags Donald Trump.
