Video: Chris O’Dowd tells Jonathan Ross how his sisters tormented him when he was younger

The old 'eye shadow in the middle of the night' trick. Yep, been there.

Tony Cuddihy

This one goes out to any JOE readers that suffered at the hands of older siblings when they were younger.

Chris O’Dowd has told chat show host Jonathan Ross how the events of ‘Moone Boy’ are truer to life than you might think.

Describing his childhood in Roscommon, the actor says that his older sisters used to apply make-up to his face in the middle of the night before sending him off to school completely unawares.

The worst thing was when they made it look subtle, like it was “a decision I had made.”

We can absolutely sympathise at JOE Towers. But revenge will one day be ours, MUAHAHAHAHAAAAA…

Or not.
