RTÉ Two’s new GAA programme Thank GAA It’s Friday continues this evening and one of the highlights of the show will be David Gillick’s return to Gaelic Football with his club Ballinteer St. John’s.
Gillick announced his retirement from athletics last month and he’s now focusing his sporting talent on Gaelic Football. The show follows his progress and it also shows him in action in a competitive match.
It should be really interesting to see how a full-time professional athlete adapts to a different sport; here’s a sneak-peak of this evening’s show…
