We certainly didn’t see that one coming.
We’ve already issued a spoiler alert, but just in case any Game of Thrones missed it or chose to conveniently ignore it, we’d like to re-iterate that reading on or watching the video above will spoil the most recent episode of the show which aired on Monday night.
Those who saw it, of course, will know that it featured a brilliant performance from Peter Dinklage, whose character, Tyrion Lannister, is on trial for the murder of his nephew Joffrey Lannister, who met his maker during the royal wedding earlier this season.
Once it became clear that the evidence was going to be stacked against him – thanks in no small part to Cersei Lannister, Tyrion’s sister and Joffrey’s mother – Tyrion decided to go off on a bit of a rant at his father Tywin and practically everyone in attendance at the trial.
As it was for the Law and Order/Game of Thrones mash-up which we featured on the site earlier today, the Internet can be great in situations such as this and it delivered in some style with an alternative ending to the episode, which we’ll let you see for yourself above.
You won’t be disappointed.
