Here’s something you don’t see every day.
Slimer – that’s right, the Slimer from Ghostbusters – has been spotted sliming his way around various spots in Dublin, including the GPO…
In case you don’t know who or what Slimer is, then 1) what’s wrong with you? And 2) he’s the kind-of-slightly lovable green ghoul from the 1984 comedy classic who, well, likes to slime people.

Slimer hasn’t done much film work since Ghostbusters, mind you. We heard he auditioned for the role of Neo in The Matrix, but Keanu Reeves won out for being “considerably less slimey”.
Makes sense when you think about it.
Slimer’s actually in Dublin to give everyone a heads up about one of the coolest events taking place anywhere in Ireland next week.
On Wednesday 4 November and Thursday 5 November, the Jameson Cult Film Club returns to a top secret location and, in case you hadn’t figured it out yet, they’re showing Ghostbusters.
