We always wondered what the meeting was like when Marvel executives pitched their idea for Guardians of the Galaxy to the actors that they had in mind for the roles.
We imagine they said, “There’s a green-skinned assassin that can rip your head off, a bumbling thief who likes to dance, and a talking tree that lays the smackdown alongside his partner in crime… who just happens to be a talking raccoon”. OK…
Thank God that the film was made though, because it was one of the best films 0f 2014 and a large part of the reason why was the superb soundtrack.
