Ooooooh, dark...

Fresh off the back of busting bad guy heads with his new best friend Optimus Prime, up and coming Irish star Jack Reynor stars in Glassland. The new Irish film tells the story of a young taxi driver on the fringes of the criminal underworld, who in an effort to save his mother from addiction and unite his broken family is forced to make a life-changing moral decision. Believe us, a barrel of laughs this is not. Directed by Kerryman Gerard Barrett and released by Element Pictures, Glassland features a stellar cast alongside Reynor including the always excellent Toni Colette, the brilliant young English actor Will Poulter and, one for the Spaced fans here, Irish actor Michael Smiley. Both Reynor and Poulter will be in attendance for the film's World Premiere in Galway on Friday July 11th, where it will screen at 8pm in the Town Hall Theatre.
