Video: Jimmy Fallon covers U2's iconic track Desire with his best Bono impersonation
Even Better Than the Real Thing?
We're massive fans of Jimmy Fallon and U2, so naturally JOE was very excited to see how Bono & Co. would have gotten on in their week long residency as his house band.
Sadly, Bono hurt his arm in a recent accident but that didn't stop the comedian from doing his best to bring a bit of North Dublin rock n' roll to his studios.
Fallon's band The Roots are absolutely superb musicians too, and their version of Desire with the chat show host channeling his inner Bono is just superb.
The world works in Mysterious Ways because although I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For in terms of an identical twin for the U2 lead singer, Fallon does give it a fair effort on stage here.
The comedian should feel an immense sense of Pride from this performance. Why? Well, because he is far from Bad.
