Jimmy Fallon couldn’t have picked a better person to parody the classic Springsteen rock tune ‘Born to Run’, mainly because he recruited Springsteen himself.

The pair come out dressed in Springsteen’s iconic Born in the USA-era outfits, complete with bandana and sleeveless denim shirt and in fairness to Fallon, his initial impression of The Boss wasn’t half bad.

The pair sing a reworked version of ‘Born to Run’, which they titled ‘Gov. Christie Traffic Jam’ and as you’ve probably guessed by now, the lyrics take a stab at the Governor of New Jersey, Chris Christie, who is currently caught up in ‘bridge closure scandal’ that saw the George Washington Bridge being closed last September leading to a 4-day traffic jam, so don’t worry too much if you haven’t got a clue about the incident. Just enjoy the song… and the fact that there aren’t any 4-day traffic jams in Ireland.
