VIDEO: Michael J Fox and Christopher Lloyd discuss Back to the Future’s predictions for 2015

Great Scott!

Great to see Marty and Doc back together.

Next Wednesday, October 21 2015, is a big one for all fans of the Back to the Future as it marks the date that Marty McFly and Doc Brown travelled to in the future in the second part of one of the most famous trilogies in movie history.

Because Back to the Future Part II was made in 1989, its vision of what the world would be like was always likely to be a little far-fetched; this is the movies after all.

There is likely to be much fanfare surrounding Back to the Future next week and ahead of the big day, the stars of the trilogy, Michael J Fox (Marty McFly) and Doctor Emmet Brown (Christopher Lloyd) got together in a Toyota ad to talk about the predictions the movie got right and (mostly) got wrong.

A full-length video of the meeting between the two stars will be released on the big day next week, which also coincides with the Toyota Mirai going on sale.

The car brand, meanwhile, also revealed plans to remake the Tacoma pickup that Marty can be seen driving in the movies.

All we need now is the guy who played Biff Tannen to crash into a truck full of manure and it’ll be like 1985 all over again.
