He’s not famous anymore, apparently…

Shia LaBeouf has been getting plenty of attention since he declared himself ‘not famous anymore’ and showed up to a film premiere with a bag on his head, but his latest stunt is without a doubt our favourite yet.

At a press conference for new movie Nymphomaniac at the Berlin Film Festival, he responded to a question by quoting Eric Cantona and the famous ‘seagulls’ line from his press conference all those years ago.

He even manages to get the impression perfect, right down to the sip of water in the middle. The meaning of the phrase, when Cantona used it in his conference after he assaulted a Crystal Palace fan in the stands, was that the media are like the seagulls, following him around because they think there will be a story from it, and that is certainly beginning to apply to LaBeouf at the moment.

The only thing missing from making the impression absolutely perfect would be the fake French accent, so maybe he needs to take lessons from Joey Barton.
