Let's face it, we're all big kids inside and kids love animated movies. Sony Pictures released the first trailer for Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 today
by Genna Patterson
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2, is the latest animated movie by Sony Pictures. While not as successful as Disney/Pixar movies, Sony Pictures have made very effort to make inroads into the animated movie business.
Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2 tells the follow-on story of Inventor Flint Lockwood, who has gained recognition for his inventions and has been invited to join The Live Corp Company, headed by his idol Chester V. The Live Corp only hires the best inventors in the world to create technologies to better humankind.

However, Flint's most infamous invention - a machine that turns water into food is still operating on his home island and is creating animal-food hybrids or 'foodimals' such as tacodiles, shrimpanzies and apple pie-thons. Flint must find a way to turn off the machine before the creatures get off the island and hit the main land.
The characters are voiced by Andy Samberg (Saturday Night Live), Anna Faris (I Give it a Year), Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother), and Benjamin Bratt (Law and Order). Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 is directed by Cody Cameron & Kris Pearn and is based on the book by Judi Barrett and illustrated by Ron Barrett.
Release date: October 25th.
