Video: The Comic-Con teaser trailer for Avengers: Age Of Ultron has finally been released

Girly screams at the ready everyone...

Eoghan Doherty

Fanboys prepare yourselves.

Although this brand spankin’, shiny, new clip was originally screened at Comic-Con back in July, it has only just been released by Marvel Studios for public consumption.

Has it been worth the wait? Well… sort of?

Puny teaser.

The short clip doesn’t give away too much at all, using snippets of our heroes’ dialogue from 2012’s Avengers Assemble and, as for the frenzied screaming at the end, we’re still trying to decipher whether it’s an excerpt from the film, the excited über-geeks at Comic-Con, or maybe it’s just the sound of the lads here at JOE HQ watching the trailer for the eighth time.

What we do get though, is our first glimpse of the sequel’s evil-eyed supervillain Ultron, who will be portrayed by James Spader in the 2015 film.

Check it out:

The Avengers: Age Of Ultron is scheduled for release in Irish cinemas in May 2015.
