Although it doesn’t look too good for poor Tyrion Lannister we’re afraid.
Not long to go now folks, under three weeks in fact, until the eagerly anticipated return of Game of Thrones to our screens with the teaser trailers for Season Four thus far indicating that it could be the best yet.
The fourth official trailer, titled ‘The Devil Inside’ was released overnight and it would appear as if vengeance is a particularly strong theme, with Cersei Lannister, King Joffrey and Stannis Baratheon amongst those making pretty strong threats about their intentions over the forthcoming ten episodes.
As is often the case, we find it hard to take our eyes off the lovely Daenerys Targaryen, whose apparent rise in power and influence make her even more appealing than ever before, but as mentioned above, if the trailer is anything to go by we fear for the plight of Tyrion Lannister, who is wearing a particularly pained expression on more than one occasion in the short teaser clip.
Not that any safe predictions can be made about what might be to come, of course; this is Game of Thrones after all, so unless you’ve read the books already, expecting the unexpected is probably the best way to approach it.
