What do you mean you haven’t even watched the first episode of Season Four yet? Keep up people, keep up.
Today is a pretty big day for Game of Thrones fans as it marks the return of Season Four of the wildly popular fantasy show to our screens for more on the struggle for power within Westeros, more backstabbing, more examples of ruthlessness and, most likely, more deaths. Yep, if the first three seasons are anything to go by there are going to be lots and lots of deaths.
Some die-hard fans will, of course, have waited up until 2am this morning to see the first episode of Season Four on Sky Atlantic immediately after it aired on HBO in the US and, having been lucky enough to see it ourselves, we can confirm that it gets Season Four off to a cracking start and picks up on nearly every story arc from the end of Season Three.
Those who did wait up will be anxious to know what happens in the next episode, as will everyone else after they watch it tonight, and the above teaser clip gives a decent idea of what’s in store, including the first sightings of characters such as Bran Stark and Stannis Baratheon and what looks like an entertaining ceremony for the wedding of Joffrey Baratheon and Margaery Tyrell.
I mean, if it’s anything like the last wedding it’s going to be a hoot, right? Right?
