All bets are off for Oscar season folks, we’ve got a new wildcard in town.

For those of you suffering withdrawal symptoms from a severe lack of ridiculous shark-related films of late, fear not, Mega Shark Vs Mecha Shark is coming to a TV screen near you. After heroically defeating both the Giant Octopus and the Crocosaurus, the magnificent Mega Shark is back – but this time the humans are ready with a giant mechanical shark of their own. Thank God we hear you cry. We all fell in love with Mega Shark after we witnessed it jumping out of the air to snatch a jumbo passenger plane in its mouth, almost as if it were auditioning for the latest David Attenborough nature documentary - a thing of beauty. I thought maybe a Seahorse? Maybe a 500-foot (150 m) Lobster would be good. But yes, there is the potential for a sequel, and I would absolutely love it."
