It’s fair to say that James Corden is a man that divides opinion, but it’s hard to begrudge the success he’s had on the TV circuit Stateside; the appeal of his Carpool Karaoke series alone has been nothing short of phenomenal.
That said, we’re sure there were a few people who quite enjoyed seeing him used as a target on a spinning wheel while his guest, Arsenal and France legend Thierry Henry, repeatedly kicked footballs at him for the best part of two minutes.
Fellow guests Danny Masterson and Ashton Kutcher even joined in the fun and Kutcher stole the show by nailing Corden in the family jewels with a technique that will have been more familiar to American viewers.
