It’s the Wolf of Wall Street/Game of Thrones mash-up you’ve all been waiting for.
Everyone has their favourite characters, but it’s hard to find a Game of Thrones fan who doesn’t warm to Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage), the charismatic dwarf who is often regarded as the black sheep of the Lannister clan despite having more charm than the rest of them put together.
Certainly, if any of the Game of Thrones characters were going to be the subject of a Wolf of Wall Street parody, it’s Tyrion with his fondness for booze, prostitutes and the finer things in life worthy of comparisons with Jordan Belfort and his hedonistic friends in the recent Martin Scorcese masterpiece.
The mash-up above, put together by YouTube user Jacob Grant, includes some of Tyrion’s best lines and moments from the three seasons so far – we particularly love the chair-screeching scene at the end – and could prove particularly poignant as the latest teaser trailer for Season Four doesn’t look good for one of our favourite sons of Westeros, it does not look good at all.
