New trailer released for creepy MCU TV show WandaVision

This looks like it could be one of the strangest things to come out of the MCU, and we are here for it.

Last week, Marvel fans were delighted to hear that despite Covid-19 ruining EVERYTHING, WandaVision would be still be released at some point this year on Disney+.

And this week, we’ve got a brand new trailer for the highly-anticipated TV show.

It doesn’t give a whole lot away, but it did confirm our earlier suspicion that it would be a darker series than many assumed it might be.

What we do know is that WandaVision will follow the life of Scarlet Witch (Wanda, played by Elizabeth Olson), in the aftermath of the death of Vision, the love of her life.

The trailer looks kind of like the show will pay homage to a number of different old sitcoms, but it can’t just be us that feels like it is actually going to be much darker than it appears.

Despite his character being dead (we think, who knows anymore?), Paul Bettany will play Vision in the show, both as a human and a robot.

The new trailer also features an appearance from a character we last saw in Captain Marvel – Monica Rambeau. You may not remember her, but she is the child who refers to Captain Marvel as “Aunt Carol” in the 2019 movie.

Another MCU television show, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, was due to be released in August of 2020, but sadly it was delayed indefinitely, and is now not expected to be released until next year.
