From Snoop Dogg to Mattress Mick. No, we’re not kidding.
It has been over a decade since The Blizzards released their sophomore album Domino Effect, but fans of the band have known that a comeback has been in the works for a while now.
There have been gigs and singles, but the actual elusive third album is still not within our grasp.
However, director Jeff Doyle followed the band and their manager Duncan Browne for the last year, all in the lead-up to the release of the new album, and speaking to JOE, Doyle confirmed that none of the band have seen any of the footage from the behind-the-scenes filming.
Instead, it will be getting a full-on, big-screen release next month, as The Blizzards: Behind The Music will be premiered at the Galway Film Fleadh on Thursday 11 July.
The teaser gives some indication of the level of superstars involved in the project, but Doyle revealed the full castlist for the doc, and it is… quite something:
