They met seven years ago in Temple Street's Children Hospital.
You probably remember the photo going viral back in 2011, of Brian O'Driscoll visiting the hospital with the Heinken Cup in hand, and a very young girl in the bed looking absolutely overjoyed.
That young girl, Michaela Morley, joined Brian on the couch last night to chat to Ryan about the importance of Donor Cards, and just how far along Michaela has come since receiving a transplant.

Of course, Ryan couldn't let Brian go with asking a few more, ahem, "personal questions", what with BOD's wife Amy Huberman having been a guest on the show just a week before.
Ryan had asked Amy how Brian reacts when he sees her kissing other men while acting in her shows and movies, so of course he had to ask Brian for his side of it, and he was brilliantly honest about it:
