Who is The Accountant?

When he's not busy donning a cowl and cape to become Batman, Ben Affleck is balancing bank accounts and beating up badguys in his brand new cinematic release, The Accountant. Ahead of the film's release on 4 November, Warner Bros. Pictures have released this very slick-looking online comic book, giving us a very interesting introduction to Affleck's latest big-screen character, Christian Wolff. Much like Rachel Riley on daytime TV, Wolff is a genius when it comes to maths, but unlike Riley (as far as we know), he also just happens to be a man who works as a freelance accountant-cum-hitman for some of the world's most dangerous criminal organisations. Accountant-cum-hitman; sure, it's a niche career choice, but there's no one better than Wolff out there, and when he begins to work with Anna Kendrick's Dana Cummings to delve into the books of a seemingly-legitmate robotics company, the numbers don't add up and the body count begins to rise.
