The third episode in the series airs Thursday night.
Michelle, Erin, Claire, Orla and James – aka The Wee English Fella – welcome a new member to the growing Derry Girls’ cast on Thursday night, and he’s one that makes TV’s new favourite cast a little hot under the collar.
The new character in question is none other than Father Peter, Derry’s sexiest fictional priest.
We know that last week’s episode finished on a rather morbid note, and Father Peter is brought in to chat to the girls (and boy) about how they feel after the incident.
“Fuck. Me.” fan-favourite Michelle exclaims within seconds.
“I don’t want you to think of me as a priest, think of me as a friend,” he says as sits with the group, slowly removing his clerical collar.

While Sister Michael is quite blatantly not a fan, we believe that James has enough love for the well-groomed clergyman to last a lifetime.
The handsome cleric is portrayed by Peter Campion, a young Irish actor famed for his roles in Brooklyn, Sing Street and Raw.
The hugely popular comedy, which debuted just a few weeks ago, follows five teenagers as they navigate their lives during The Troubles in Northern Ireland.
The show has already garnered wildly impressive reactions from viewers, leading Channel 4 to order a second series on the back of just one episode.
Derry Girls’ airs tonight (Thursday, 25 January) at 10pm on Channel 4.
