If you haven’t watched the first season of Top Of The Lake yet, then stop what you’re doing right now and remedy that.
All currently available episodes are up on Netflix right now, and with a score of 93% on Rotten Tomatoes, it is one of the best reviewed new TV shows to come along in quite some time.
Now, following on from Elisabeth Moss’s stellar turn in The Handmaiden’s Tale (another amazing show you should be watching right now), she will be joined by Nicole Kidman (who turned in a career best performance in Big Little Lies, which was also incredible) for the second season.
Moss returns as a detective, this time relocating from New Zealand to Sydney, investigating a body washing up on Bondi Beach. She’s joined by Game Of Thrones’ Gwendoline Christie in the investigation, while Kidman plays the adoptive mother of Moss’ biological daughter.

There’s no confirmed release date yet, but with the first season debuting on BBC Two in July 2013, we’d expect the second season to arrive around the same month this year.
Following on from that, BBC Two release a sizzle reel for all of the big dramas they have lined up for 2017, and in amongst the greatness is your first look at the latest season of Peaky Blinders.
New dramas. Returning dramas. EPIC dramas.

Admittedly, there’s not much to go on (the show is still filming, after all), but we also get a look at The Child In Time, which features none other than Benedict Cumberbatch as a children’s author who finds his life turned completely upside down when his young daughter goes missing.
Again, not a huge amount of actual details on any of these in terms of release dates, but you can be sure that once we know, you’ll know!
