Including the Hobbs & Shaw spin-off, we're now about to be ten movies deep into this franchise, and it can never be said that the makers of these movies don't give us exactly what we want.
Back when the first trailer for Fast & Furious 9 was released (remember that??), it brought back fan favourite character Han (Sung Kang), who was previously killed in both Tokyo Drift AND Fast & Furious 7 (to be fair, it was the same scene in both movies).
That was after years and years of an online campaign under the hashtag #JusticeForHan, and his return signified the producers really listening to the fans.
However, if you've been keeping up with fan demands for these movies, following some of the more insane and OTT set-pieces of the previous entries, then you'll also know that there has been a constant push to finally get the Fast & Furious franchise into space.
And guess what? They've only gone and done it!
From the looks of it, Roman (Tyrese Gibson) and Tej (Ludacris) are in the rocket-propelled vehicle about to break free of Earth's surly bonds. Quite why they're all the way up there, we don't know, but we do know that we can't wait to find out!
Director Justin Lin is back (he previously directed the third, fourth, fifth, and sixth entries in the series), as are stars Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Charlize Theron, Helen Mirren, Jordana Brewster, and Nathalie Emmanuel, while series newbie John Cena joins the cast as the new big baddie, aka Vin Diesel's evil brother.
This is reportedly the first chapter in the closing trilogy of the series, with Fast & Furious 9 currently scheduled to arrive in Irish cinemas on Thursday, 8 July.
