WATCH: Short film shows Wolverine as a limo-driver in the lead-up to Logan

When its released next month, Logan will mark the ninth and reportedly final time that Hugh Jackman will don the claws to play Wolverine.

We were first greeted to the then relatively unknown Australian actor in the scene-stealing role in X-Men way back in 2000, and he only got the part because Dougray Scott decided to drop out to take a part in Mission: Impossible II instead. We bet he’s regretting that decision now.

Ever since, Jackman’s Wolverine has been a constant highlight of the X-Men film series, and fans are getting emotionally ready to say goodbye to him when Logan reaches Irish cinemas on March 3rd.

In the lead-up to that release, 20th Century Fox have released this one-minute short film which is light on plot, but heavy on arty atmosphere.

It shows Logan hard at work as a limo driver, transporting bridal parties and prom-dudes, while the voice-over is a message from a mysterious man offering to buy Logan’s boat.

We’re not sure what any of it really means, or if it means anything at all, or how it’ll tie into the movie once it’s released, but it is a pretty cool alternative to giving us just yet another teaser trailer.
