If this is a promo for the new series, it’s only going to put people off watching.
The Simpsons doesn’t return with new episodes until next month in the US, but the creators have released a new promo in which Donald Trump goes toe to toe with “The Squad”.
“The Squad” consists of Democrat Congresswomen Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley and Rashida Tlaib.
The 90-second clip is titled “West Wing Story” and boasts a parody of the musical’s famous number, ‘America.’
In the video Trump sings: “They shouldn’t be in America/No one but me America/No taxes for me in America/This is my natural hair-ica!”
The whole thing ends with all of the 2020 Democratic presidential hopefuls dancing together on the White House lawn.
“Who’s the old man now?” an animated Joe Biden says.
