The Dublin-set movie features stars from Peaky Blinders, Game of Thrones, and The Queen's Gambit.
The first trailer for upcoming Irish thriller Here Are The Young Men has just been released, and it features a VERY impressive collection of emerging talent.
Dean-Charles Chapman (1917), Finn Cole (Peaky Blinders), Anya Taylor-Joy (The Queen's Gambit), Travis Fimmell (Vikings), Conelth Hill (Game of Thrones), Emmett J. Scanlan (Gangs of London), and Ferdia Walsh-Peelo (Sing Street) star in the movie, which was directed by Eoin Macken (best known for his roles in Merlin and The Night Shift), who also adapted the story from the hit novel by Rob Doyle.
The movie's official synopsis is as follows:
"Three high school grads celebrate their newfound freedom with an epic, debaucherous bender, but when a horrible accident sends them spiralling, each must grapple with the most daunting challenge of their lives: facing their own inner demons."
The movie is set in and was filmed around Dublin, and premiered at the Galway Film Fleadh last summer. It was due for a cinematic release this year, but as the pandemic continues to keep cinemas closed, the producers behind the movie have decided to release it for home entertainment.
The movie will be made available on PVOD platforms - the likes of Apple TV, Sky Store, and Rakuten TV - from Friday, 30 April, with the movie then intended to release in cinemas once they reopen later in the year.
