You can now play a Game of Thrones themed game of Risk

The board game is dark and full of terrors...

Game of Thrones and the board game Risk have a lot in common, there's a lot of battles, a lot of twists and inevitably a lot of death which will leave you hugging your knees in the shower telling yourself that things will get better. So it was inevitable that someone would bring the hugely popular TV series into board game form so you can immerse yourself into the world of murder, deceit and betrayal from the safety of your own sitting room. The board game is currently available on the HBO website and will go on even wider sale this month. The game allows you to play as one of the seven houses, with the familiar ones being the Starks, the Martels, the Lannisters, the Tyrells, the Targaryens and the Baratheons. One house will be unknown to you, the Ghiscari, which is the generic title given to all the houses in Slavers Bay that Daenerys has been wasting everyone's time conquering. But there is a slight problem, the game retails around €70 on the HBO website which is quite a steep price to pay. But we're still excited to get our hands on this game so we can use the cunning and conniving side of us that we have to keep hidden from the general public. Valar Morghulis, all men must die...
