50 Cent announces support act for Dublin leg of his Get Rich or Die Tryin’ tour

The logical choice.

Rap superstar 50 Cent is hitting up the capital this autumn as part of his upcoming Get Rich or Die Tryin’ tour.

The iconic album turned 15 this year, which is a good a reason as any to relive former glories in front of legions of fans, just like it’s 2003 all over again.

Fiddy takes to the stage at Dublin’s 3Arena on 22 September, and he’s pulling out all the stops as far as the support act goes.

Opening up for the main man will be, but of course, the notorious G-Unit.

Given 50’s previous with the New York outfit, you can probably expect him to get involved for a cameo at the very least.

The man born Curtis Jackson last played Dublin just over nine years ago, when he took to the stage of The Point back in February 2009.

After directing his focus massively to film and his hugely successful drama Power over the past couple of years, it appears that the rapper is once again, to the joy of his fans, centring his life around music.

JOE got the chance to chat to Fiddy back in March to talk about the supposed ‘advice’ he was given by Oscar-nominated Irish director Jim Sheridan when the pair worked together in 2005.

Tickets for the 3Arena gig are on sale from Ticketmaster now.
