50 Cent shooting

Nobody was hurt during the incident.

Shots were fired during the filming of a music video in Brooklyn, New York on Tuesday night, with 50 Cent and 6ix9nine on set at the time the shooting took place.

TMZ reports that nobody was hurt in the incident.

Witnesses stated that someone driving a white Porsche with New Jersey licence plates fired “at least 11 shots” at around 10:30pm on Tuesday.

It is believed that a 9mm semi-automatic weapon was used in the shooting.

Fellow rappers Casanova and Uncle Murda were also present at the time, and sources close to the situation believe that the shooter wasn’t targeting any of the rappers.

TMZ notes that law enforcement officers don’t necessarily share that theory, however.

Surveillance footage is being reviewed, and the shooter remains at large.

50 Cent is scheduled to hit Dublin’s 3Arena next month as part of the 15th anniversary of his Get Rich or Die Tryin’ world tour, along with G-Unit in support.

The controversial 6ix9ine, meanwhile, was recently hospitalised after reportedly being pistol-whipped, kidnapped and robbed earlier this summer.

Those responsible have yet to be apprehended.

22-year-old 6ix9ine is also facing criminal charges of his own.

The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office filed a letter earlier this month recommending that he be sentenced to 1-3 years in prison, and for the judge to make him register as a sex offender.
