These guys all have the potential to do great things.

These guys all have the potential to do great things.

There’s lots of predictions and hype machines going off the scales in music circles at this time of year.

We’ve dusted off our own crystal ball and picked six artists that we think will make a big breakthrough in 2015.

These acts are all top quality and we feel it’s a matter of time before they explode in a big way.

Oh Wonder

The London duo are releasing new track every month so their debut album in full will be out next October.

What they’ve released so far has been jaw-dropping and they could be the electro kings of 2015.

Ryn Weaver

The singer-songwriter is currently one of the most talked about new acts in America.

Her quirky pop sound which is produced by the guys at Passion Pit is so infectious.

She’s a star in the making and her single ‘OctaHate’ is one of our favourite songs of the last 12 months.

Talos

Eoin French aka Talos is from Cork and his two single ‘Tethered Bones’ and ‘Bloom’ have gone down a storm online.

He’s only played a few live shows but anyone who has been lucky enough to see him has been blown away.

2015 is going to be a big year for the 27-year-old.

Wolf Alice

Wolf Alice have been together since 2010 but they are now ready to take the mantle as the hot new indie band in the UK.

Their latest EP ‘Creature Songs’ is phenomenal and all the right people are showing interest in them.

It’s a case of right sound, right place, right time. We love them.

Little Hours

Donegal duo Little Hours burst onto the Irish scene towards the end of this year in a big way.

They’ve had some great support slots and sold out shows as their reputation continues to grow.

The band’s self titled debut EP is a radio station’s dream and we reckon they’ll make an impact in the next 12 months.

Amber Run

The minute we heard Amber Run’s song ‘I Found’ we knew we’d stumbled onto something special.

Their full length debut album will be released on Sony in 2015 and it’s already got hit written all over it.

Remember the name.
