Arguably Ireland's biggest current band have just dropped some new music and teased a new album.
Taking to Instagram this evening, Fontaines DC shared their biggest teaser yet in the form of a 90 second Kubrick inspired video, with previously unheard music behind it.
The video, which was simply titled Romance, was accompanied by an Instagram story telling fans to sign up to their news letter for any announcements.
Many believe that a new album will be announced imminently.
One person wrote online: "Grian’s voice and The Shining reference are class."
A second wrote: "New stuff? Hallelujah to that and some non festival uk gigs for the autumn, might be a very fine thing."
A third commented: "Serious Nick Cave vibes. Love it."
If this is the forbearer to an album announcement, the upcoming album will be the band's fourth following on from 2022's widely acclaimed Skinty Fia.
