The iconic musician returns. A treat for fans of the great man.
While the Christmas season is far, far away – don’t let anyone tell you it isn’t, it’s FAAAAR away – music fans are facing that all too common dilemma that crops up in the weeks after Electric Picnic, which gigs will I spend my cash on?
In recent weeks, we’ve seen the likes of Green Day (with Weezer and Fall Out Boy), Westlife, The Coronas, Schoolboy Q, Hozier and Snow Patrol all announce Irish dates, but Christy Moore has an early Christmas present for his fans.
The iconic musician will be playing 10 nights at Vicar Street, Dublin along with a date at Killarney’s INEC in support of his new album, Magic Nights.
Moore will be playing pre-Christmas gigs at the famous Dublin venue on December 9, 10, 16, 17 and will return after Christmas to perform on January 2, 3, 7, 8, 13 and 14.
At present, no pricing details have been announced but tickets will be available to buy from Thursday, 26 September at 9am.
