There are some big names on the flyer this year.
Electric Picnic has followed up yesterday’s major B*Witched news with some more exciting announcements. English comedian Russell Howard is set to headline this year’s Comedy Tent at EP.
Howard, famous for his appearances on Mock The Week and Russell Howard’s Good News, is joined on the bill by big Irish names like David O’Doherty, Jason Byrne and Allison Spittle.
The roster is positively stacked across the weekend — also featuring comedians such as Joanne McNally, Jarlath Regan (host of An Irishman Abroad) and Eric Lalor. Deadpan snarker Milton Jones will also be performing, as well as Ireland’s finest hip hop musical comedian, Abandoman.
With all that comedy on offer, who’s even going to have time for the music?
Karl Spain will take up MC duties for the Comedy Tent across the weekend, which will open from 1pm on both Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd September.
