Never let it be said Bono and the boys would miss a bumper commercial opportunity.
The iPhone 6 will come pre-loaded with a brand new album from U2, according to reports.
The rumours come from a recent video shoot from the band on the Samuel Beckett Bridge in Dublin. While the shoot was kept strictly cloak and dagger, music promoter Stephen Browne revealed that the focus of the video was ‘a phone.’
Looks like @U2 new album maybe preloaded on to iPhone6. The focus of the “video” on the bridge last week was a phone pic.twitter.com/CUY4rKTSM9

There are reports that Bono may be a special musical guest at a major Apple event to launch the new phone on September 9th.
The Dubliner has a strong relationship with Apple stretching back to his friendship with the late Steve Jobs, and the fact that U2’s new single is set to debut on the same day as the event in Cupertino hints even further at a collaboration.
