Ed Sheeran Phoenix Park

Just in case you didn’t pack the sandwiches…

We’ve some good news and bad news for anybody heading to the Ed Sheeran concerts in Dublin’s Phoenix Park.

The bad news is that the queues are set to be so long.

The good news is that Deliveroo have picked up on the fact that 150,000 people are going to be heading to the shows on 16, 18 and 19 May, and they are actually going to be offering a queue delivery service.

That’s right: freshly cooked food delivered in 30 minutes to distract from standing in line for 30 minutes… or more.

A series of delivery spots have been set up outside Phoenix Park by the take-out delivery service, which will enable customers to pick up their food easily, whether they are at the front or back of the queue.

The service will be available on all three dates and can be availed of through the Deliveroo app.

Commenting on the announcement, Deliveroo’s Head of Consumer Communications, Joe Groves said: “After ascending upon Ireland last week, we are so excited to welcome Ed to Dublin.

“Given his popularity, we know some of his most loyal fans will be queuing early and we want to make sure that the ‘Sheerios’ of Dublin are well fed and ready for Ed.”
