Four hours of The Boss. Heaven for Springsteen fans.

With the joyous news that Bruce Springsteen plans on heading back into the studio with The E Street Band before heading out on the road, 2020 is shaping up to be the year of The Boss. Again.

Mmm, is there some sort of election on too?

As fans will know, the great man is always fond of playing live whenever there’s a US presidential election on the horizon but another certainty for those who love The Boss is that Hungry Heart, the Springsteen-themed evening dedicated to his music, is pure bliss.

Why?

Well, the incredibly popular event has sold out whenever it has landed in the capital and the next event is bound to do the same.

What does it involve? Well, plenty of dancing in the dark because there will be four hours of The Boss’ tunes playing, non-stop.

As the official listing states: “The hardcore Springsteen fans behind Hungry Heart will be back spinning Springsteen tracks at The Button Factory on Saturday 15 February. The bumper to bumper Springsteen session is a joyful marathon run of Bruce’s epic back catalogue – niche versions, live concert tracks, big album hits… if you want it, they’ve got it.”

Tickets are priced from €12-14 and you can take a look at what’s in store below.

Fans will also be pleased to know that the event is heading back to Belfast when it lands in the Empire on Saturday 25 April.

To paraphrase the iconic lyrics of ‘Darkness On The Edge of Town’: “Well if she wants a ticket, you can tell her that they’re easily found.”
