Croke Park, anyone? Ed Sheeran set to announce a UK and European Stadium Tour

Remember to breathe.

Ed Sheeran fans will need a lie-down.

So, first Ed Sheeran announces that he has been working on a secret album for the past six years and admits that it’s half-written and now he has taken to Instagram to state that he will be doing a UK and European stadium tour

His performance at Glastonbury at the weekend must have tugged at the heartstrings of Sheeran and he will be returning to the big stage to do what he does best, entertaining hundreds of thousands of people at one time.

The announcement was made shortly before 12pm on Tuesday afternoon on Ed’s Instagram account and reads “announcing UK and Europe stadium tour tomorrow. This was the only picture I could find at short notice x.”

The picture found at short notice was one of him kneeling on a table with a mini Sheeran sculpture which the star is holding very close to his groin.

Sheeran’s heart belongs on the big stage. The last time he played an outdoor concert in Ireland was the famous two nights at Croke Park where he teamed up with Kodaline and Glen Hansard where he wooed our hearts with his own special rendition of The Auld Triangle.

What odds on a repeat performance?
