This is how much pints will cost you at Electric Picnic

Alan Loughnane

New Irish festival

Heading to Stradbally?

Haven’t you heard? Electric Picnic is on this weekend.

If you’ve not being paying attention you can go check out the stage times for the main areas, along with the rest of the site and our comprehensive guide to the Stradbally festival.

There’s also the Throwback Stage that looks fantastic boasting Johnny Logan, B*Witched, Heather Small and some classic movie screenings.

We also have a list of the banned items from the festival here, but can reveal that attendees are allowed to bring 48 cans into the festival with them.

But if you plan on purchasing some pints of the wobbly water down in Laois, here is what it will set you back.

  • Heineken – €6.50
  • Heineken 0.0 (330ml) – €4.50
  • Orchard Thieves – €6.50
  • Tiger – €6.90
  • Desperados (330ml) – €6.20
  • Wine (187ml) – €6.50
  • Prosecco (220ml) – €9.50
  • Water – €2.20

It’s another bumper year in terms of headliners as Electric Picnic brings to you a plethora of superstars for your aural pleasure. Kendrick Lamar, The Prodigy, Massive Attack, The Kooks, St. Vincent, George Ezra, Walking On Cars and The Coronas are just some of the names that will feature over the course of the weekend.

It’s a brilliant weekend, but if attending, be safe and ensure to stay as hydrated as possible. There are free drinking water points throughout the campsites and arena and you can find these next to the toilet blocks.

For more information, check out the Electric Picnic website.
