Brought to you by All Together Now

One of the best festivals of the summer is on this weekend.

All Together Now is making its return this year and ahead of its comeback, there’s some things you should know to get the most out of your festival experience.

But don’t worry compadres, we’ve got you covered and have a handy list of everything you need to know.

Where is it?

Curraghmore Estate, Portlaw, Waterford.

When is it on?

July 29 – 31.

How to get there?

Public transport is encouraged for those attending, with Bus Eireann providing direct buses to the festival from Dublin while there are also trains to Waterford with shuttle buses. Full information on these is available via the ATN website.

Trains from Kent Station will need to change over at Limerick Junction. From Galway’s Ceannt station, you’ll need to change over in Kildare, and from Belfast, you will need to go to Dublin Connolly and travel from there to Heuston and onto Waterford Plunkett station.

There is also parking on-site for those who wish to travel by car or camper van. Car parks will be open from 9am on Friday, 29 July until Monday, 1 August. All parking is free.

The music

First up – the music. There are over 200 artists set to play, with more than 100 Irish acts featuring over 18 stages. Artists like Jungle, Self Esteem, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Flight Facilities, CMAT, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, and Floating Points are all performing over the weekend.

Bringing alcohol in

You can bring in alcohol but there are limitations.

Each person on a weekend camping ticket is allowed to bring 24 cans OR one litre of spirits OR 1.5 litres of wine for personal consumption – subject to initial entry only. These can be brought into the campsite and the main arena.

Alcohol may be brought onto the site at time of first entry only. There is no re-entry with alcohol once you’re wrist-banded.

For safety reasons, punters are not allowed to bring glass bottles into the campsite or festival arena. Instead, festival-goers are encouraged to decant alcohol into non-glass bottles/containers.

Paying

All Together Now is a cashless event. All bars, concessions and traders will accept contactless payments or chip and PIN payments. Be ready to make any purchases with Apple Pay, Android Pay, Samsung Pay, Google Wallet and contactless cards.

Toilets and Showers

Toilets will be located throughout the campsites and the festival arenas.

Showers can be found in the campsites, and will be open at specified times throughout the weekend.

Tickets

Unfortunately, the festival is sold out so unless you already have a ticket bought already, you won’t be able to experience this amazing event.
